Hi, I have an 05 white evo 8. I am unsatisfied with the oem shift knob's overall appearance. Anyone have some ideas of any nice looking shift knobs out there? I recently checked out a friend's evo 9. I was impressed on how Mitsubishi updated the knob. I was thinking of getting a straight knob similar to that of a honda integra type r. what do you guys think?

i love the ARC shift knob

 

+1 it def looks better than my MR knob but I'm fine with mine.

 

Ditto on the ARC. I rock one in my eclipse after trying many knobs. Kinda pricey for a shift knob but worth every penny.

 

I bought the optionial aluminum shift knob for the Evo X for my IX. It looks nice and OEM but much more modern than that nasty fake leather thing. It even has "Evolution" laser etched into it. I think most of the aftermarket knobs are a little ricey.

 

Sorry, "Lancer Evolution". The dimpling matches well with the dimpling on the shifter base.

 

I know the factory leather shift knob on my VIII was real leather. At least when it came apart it appeared to be! LOL I have a B&M aluminum shift knob that I had on there for a little while. It looks good and feels good too! Thread right onto the factory shifter and has a nice weight to it. PM if anyone wants it.

i've got the arc knob and i really like it. It gets hot in the summer though. do a search in the show and shine section and you'll find tons of pics.

 

I tried a few and ended up with the ARC TI as well. Ill never look back.

i rock the Black Ralliart one for the Evo. i love it because it sits a bit higher than the stock leather. all i have to do now is get a short shifter and my arm won't move as much for my shifts.

 

i have the ARC one but have been thinking about moonface racing's titanium shift knob. that looks awesome as well. can't seem to find a picture online though.

 

i have two knobs actually i have one i got from autozone love it with my interior and i have full carbon fiber one. ill sell the carbon fiber one if you want it. i has not been used. one before then after pics enjoy
