WARNING: if anyone has a JDM evo, the e-bay SS's are unsuitable. I got one from e-bay, went to fit it, and the all the linkages looked nothing at all like the pics in Kracka's how-to post. Unfortunately the set up obviously completely different.

cheers

There just isn't the lag time in between shifts like before. Best mod bang for the buck. Once again i appreciate the help kracka.
Not a problem man! Glad you're enjoying it. Thanks for the

Another update on the Blox engine mount. Cabin vibration and noise is SIGNIFICANTLY increased. If you already didn't like the rattle trap sounds that come from the interior of your Evo you will HATE it after a Blox install. I accept it as the cost of doing business (having a highly-strung thoroughbred car).

Just another detail I thought I would add.

Wasn't there a big discussion about removing the weather stripping under the hood where the inlet scoop is to free up some restriction in the flow? I was trying to dig up some old posts but couldn't find them.

Easy free mod with virtually no ill side effects right?

You're the first I've really heard complaining about the Blox mount. If the vibrations are really that bad in your car you may want to take a look at your balance shaft belt and/or orientation. I've installed it on numerous daily-driven cars and everyone has been extremely happy with it. To each their own though, should only take a few minutes to remove it and I'm sure it would sell very quickly.

You could try it, but I don't see it having any real benefit. The snorkel is designed to get air that's passed through the grille before it hits the radiator. Next time I have my hood open I will definitely take a look at this and maybe get out the razor blade to trim the seal if it seems beneficial.

Yeah definitely take a look. When you close the hood you can see how it blocks the depression in the hood where the scoop is.

I wouldn't say "significantly" but it does cause a little bit of a vibration at idle. My girlfriend could notice but it wasn't horrible. I'd say make sure all your bolts are tight and do a check over, it shouldn't be that bad. If anything, my car feels a lot smoother while driving.

Were there any additional lists, beyond what was on the first few pages?

I just installed some drive shaft bushings, I noticed the difference immediately the next time I drove the car. Makes dealing with the 6-puck alot easier.
