I agree with the tuning as well, however I personally only live a few hours from AMS and Chris Black/Martin are awesome tuners. I have read alot about Mellon's tunes and everyone seems to be very satisfied as well. I had AMS basic $60.00 MBC and it worked great for 3 years.

I also agree with the beginning mods that Mellon has stated. Those are the very basics to get a good starting point from. I preferred going to AMS for a tune just because I would be able to see from a dyno what the car gained and where.

You asked a question that with those 5 mods what type of power you would gain, I would think you should pick up around 30-40WHP

I was thinking about 30 so thats good. I already have the drop in filter so good there at least. lol

Say with a MBC if I go ahead and get it now. Can you run 20 psi of boost before I get the tuning done? Or wait for the tuning.

It is feasible to run 20 psi since 19 is stock but your problem is knowing whether or not you are running lean or rich. You would know more definitively if you had a wideband.

Yeah I was thinking about the lean lean issue. But thought since they run pretty rich from the factory 20 psi would be safe.

thanks for the input.

Modded and tuned. Well I finally got my car modded and tuned.

I went to AMS (4 hours away so not to bad). Had turbo back exhaust with high flow cat, walbro pump, boost controller and gauges put in with custom tune.

Car is a blast now. It put down 301 awhp at 22 psi.

Thanks for the help guys and thanks AMS.
