yes just about a week ago. what do you want to know... how to do it?? well on the evo8 its pretty easy, and you would have to be stupid to drive around without it. the 9 is a different story

i took mine off and painted it and put it back on!!!! i just used a heat gun for about 30 seconds and then pryed it off, came off real easy, went back in just as easy!!!

evo ix is just one screw behind it....
when you take it off you still have the ugly bracket that runs down the grille...
i wouldnt take the emblem off unless your getting rid of the bracket

I did the same to mine. I painted it black just like my rear emblems.

take it off, throw it away, and order one of those sweet front emblems made of CF. i have it on the front of mine and it looks real good with the black paint. much better than the silver...

evo IX is hard to take off the emblem. i never really looked at it but i think the bumper has to come off to get the bracket.

thanks, i have the emblem off to see what it looks like. the bracket is still on there. not sure what im going to do yet if you have any more pictures thatd be great

I didn't remove the bracket. I haven't seen very many that have. At first I hated it, but it doesn't bother me now.

i know the bracket looks horrible, just gotta find some time. and someplace clean enough since all there is is mud outside cause all the snow melted today
