Mods:Power

I'm sure there is some thread about how much power certain mods will give, But I can't find them so I figured I'd ask. I'm just curious for estimates I know there will variables. Once the rest of the parts get in this is what the setup will look like.

Cone Intake
BR UICP
AMS LICP
AMS TBE w/TP
Hallman MBC
Walbro 255
tune/flash (not too aggressive cause it's my DD)

Those are the power mods. I'll set MBC to 21 PSI (No head studs yet) and will run 91 octane maybe a gallon or 2 of 117 mixed in every so often. Any estimates would be appreciated.

Before doing any engine stuff, such as cams, the easiest way to make power is free up airflow. your intake and exhaust have done that. the current choke point you have is your O2 housing. Pick up an invidia O2 housing. Best out there.

That said, you can run more than 21 psi safely. I run 23-24 psi safely with similar mods. I put down 314whp with similar mods (+O2 housing, ported mani, ported hotside), but I have a high flow cat and a small boost leak somewhere. You should expect more than that.

Why aren't you running 93 octane? Oklahoma has 93.

Why did you decide to buy an O2 housing rather than just porting it along with the manifold and hotside?

I would be kinda interested to know as well. These are almost identical to mods I have. I have yet to install AEM tru boost and TBE, still sitting at the house.

Anyways I was looking for a local dyno to run my setup on before and after tune. Cant seem to find one, and not really about making a trip to chi any time soon.

I have a ppi ported exhaust mani and ported hotside - highly recommend them.

stock O2 housing is small - both internally and at the outlet (which goes to downpipe). invidia is bigger thus allowing more airflow. I ported the invidia O2 housing as well.... there is a nasty step at the outlet so I took a grinder to it and made it smooth

more gains are to be had from invidia O2 housing than porting the stock O2 housing

No 93 where I live , only a few shops that sell 117 for the local dirt racers.

The O2 housing is still being decided. I'm doing the install myself and I'm worried about damaging the radiator while I try to get the the housing off. I'm thinking I might wait and take it to someone who has some experience doing it.

With the mods you listed you should be somewhere around 320-335WHP.
I would also recommend a O2 Housing as well, I got mine from Buschurs and it works great (Ceramic coated and ported).
I have similar mods to you, and my tune date will be in January by TurboTrix
Air Intake Pipe kit/ K&NCone
ETS full Intercooler kit (UICP, LICP, 3" FMIC)
Buschur TBE/HFC
Buschur MBC
Buschur O2 Housing
Walbro 255
Defi Boost Racer Gauge
AEM Wideband.
93 Octane

I ask the same question as you and they told me around 350-370whp, Plus now that is getting colder, even better for the tune.

Better hope a close friend knows how to install that O2 Housing because a shop will charge you an hand and some legs.

I installed mine, and it's not that bad. Just take the radiator off

Great time for a coolant change!

I'm somewhat of a mechanically inclined person so I think I could do it. I'm just cautious about it. I read a thread on here that had pretty good details on how to change it with pulling the radiator. Is that what you followed?

Again, anyone else have any estimates/suggestions? Thanks

If you don't get any more estimates on here, try calling different Dyno shops, they do a pretty good job giving out estimates.
