The fluid is frozen in the lines.

Use a better washer fluid such as the orange Rain-X stuff. I've yet to have that freeze on me and the blue stuff always used to.

Umm you know you can just leave your wippers on to clear it out right?

And yeah....I just use the normal blue stuff and I've never had any issues. Seems like a lot of people just use water on here . Maybe it's a warmer climate thing but I've always use random cheap blue stuff. It's been down to -10 here as well. I do see how the Evos would have more problems with line freezes due to the tank being away from the engine heat.

The blue stuff is the shiz! Never froze on me on south Dakota. Rated to withstand -20 but was going strong even in -35.

Ummm you know how long it takes to empty a full bottle doing it that way right?

Of course I know I can do that. I am not one who is about wasting things I buy no matter what it cost me. In other words if I am not in need of it at the moment why use it? The point is it is still in there right now and around here the only type I have never had freeze is the orange Rain-X stuff. One more thing about the orange stuff is that you can use it to clear frost and even light ice off your windshield.

You cannot really just go by the color of the fluid. Some blue fluids are not cold weather rated and some are. And its really not about the color. Just make sure the bottle says -20F or better on it.

And just to be sure, you do know that the tank in the engine bay is for the intercooler sprayer and the tank for the windshield washer fluid is in the trunk on the right side.
