Has anyone painted just the top of their wing black? I started sanding mine down to repair the clearcoat and I just have this feeling that its not going to turn out very good. I thought about just spraying the top part of the carbon fiber black. I dont REALLY want to, but I also dont want to do all this work, and then in 6 months have the new clear pealing off like I hear alot of people talking about.

 

^I would try to get the wing replaced under warranty. I got mine replaced no problem.

And yes, it is a solid fact all EVO VIII wings are 100% cf.

 

All wings from 03-05 are full CF the evo 9 has the stupid plastic thingy, if the innerside of the wing has CF then the whole wing is CF but if both sides have paint on then its the plastic wing.
