Unless you track it often, there is no way you could regret it. Or maybe there is but I LOVE IT!!

The only thing that I miss about going from my 2005 MR to my 2006 GSR is the suspension quality. I know you can change anything but stock for stock the MR rode so much nicer.

I regret getting a GSR, I would have been off better with an RS, because I really just drive my Evo for a pleasure purpose & hope to have it build one day. An RS would have cost me $4,000 less back then too, so financially it would have been much better too.

well i wanted an MR, but when I went to buy the only ones i could find were all salvaged titles, or to expensive (within evo x gsr range), ended up with an IX se and love it.took a little getting used to the 5-spd coming from a 6-spd corolla xrs.

loved my mr no problems with it what so ever but i love my gsr now and prefer a 5pd not because of reliablity issues or anything just because i like the feel of the 5pd better especiially on the track

I love my IX MR more and more every day! Never a regret!! My car just turned 40K and I have NO shifter/tranny issues! MR for LIFE!!!!!!!!! Think about the complete MR package: Aluminum Roof, Bilstein Struts, Front Brake Guides, Vortex Generator, Gauge Package, Limited numbers of the MR, BBS Light Weight Wheels and a 6th GEAR!! Most people (that I know at least!) end up buying these things piece by piece anyways for their GSR. Never getting rid of mine!! She's GOLD!!!

I honestly regret getting the MR. I paid a pretty high price for it, used, with 34k on it. Everyone warned me about the transmission but I figured I'd be fine.. Once I started driving a little harder, after the first few days, I realized 4th gear grinds when shifting fast at redline, 2nd is crazy notchy, 5th locks me out at high rpm/fast shifting, and sometimes, just putting it into reverse grinds... I wish I noticed these things when I bought it

As far as the rest of the MR package? The gauge package is something from the 80's and I can't wait to take them out. The shift knob is freezing in the winter. The e-brake handle is a nice piece, but It's a bit cheesy. I just wish I spent less money, and bought a gsr and never worried about the transmission.

I love having the 6spd, I dont worry about the tranny problems. Mostly likely my car will never see a track and I have no plan of going over 350 whp. what I do regret is the price. Wish there was a option without the bbs, cause im planning changing my wheels anyway.
