A person who makes unecessary modifications to their most often import car (hence the term "rice") to make it (mostly make it look) faster.
"Ricing" a vehicle is meant to emulate the aesthetic work of independent automotive car tuning companies who modify more than just appearance, and to give an appearance of greater ability than the car actually has.
gauges = needed, therefore not a "ricer" item... I saw in another post you said blowoff valves are "riced", yet id laugh if you tried to run a turbo without any sort of BOV.
You obviously dont know what your talking about

Glowshift seems to be pretty good
ok here is an update. I got the glowshift triple gauge A-pillar pod. As somebody else mentioned, it is super, super glossy! The gloss makes it look like cheap chintzy plastic. So I got some medium-grade sand from Home Depot and gave the thing a good rub down. Now it has the same exact appearance as the factory piece, a dull light gray and nonreflective, with texturing. English Racing will be working on my car soon, and will install the pod for me. If the fit is good, I would say the pod is perfect. Should look just like it came from the factory. Just eyeballing it, it looks like it should be a perfect fit, including the tweeter hole. So my recommendation at this time is to get the glowshift and rub it down with some sand. Don't use sandpaper, because it will remove the texturing. Use loose sand. I will give another update on this topic after the pod is installed.
