Evo V / 6.5 TME JDM Production Figures?

I thank all for your insights on the question I had in my previous post (whether to buy a IV, V or VI here in Japan). I've narrowed my hunt down to the V and the VI.V TME. I had some JDM production figures lying around but I've managed to lose them. Does anyone have any numbers or can point me in the right direction?

I've seen exactly one TME for sale recently and it was snapped up quickly. I was wondering if numbers were so low that the TME has become an "instant classic" with corresponding high resale price.

If so, I'll stick with the V.

Thanks, but he seems to have broken links to the "information" pages. Anyone else having problems accessing that site?

I sure wish I could afford a VIII, but my wife would frown on the luxury of a new car

The V is most certainly in my price category with enough left over to throw some goodies on it.

The Evo 6.5 was made in only about 1000 units.
More Evo 5s were made, about 4 to 5 thousand.

Lancer-evo.net probably have accurate figures, but I've also come across a few variations but not by much.

My own personal information has concluded:
-Evo 4&5: 6000
-Evo 6: 9500
-Evo TME: 1000

Thank you, Lee. Your numbers are pretty accurate from what I can gather. I've pretty much decided to get the V. Any recommendations in Kansai re purchase, aftermarket goods or auctions?

Go with the Evo VI then. The VI has better brakes than the V and the AYC is more reliable as well.

True, I'm not ruling out a VI yet. I would assume that any used V here would have had the AYC fixed if there had been a problem. I'll keep an eye on the brakes if I look at a V.

I DO like the look of the V, though.
