I've taken my bumper off a couple times and had no problem each time putting it back on and having a gap.

Never seem to get that gap right again ever. Then again its a mitsu fit and finish from the factory leaves a heck of alot to be desired

Both sides had a gap for me when I bought mines brand new. I did a Evo IX front bumper conversion and managed to make the passenger side fit right but the driver side still has the little gap. I gave up.

just get like 1/8inch CF and stick it under the headlight with 3m double sided tape.
but now where to get those 1/8inch CF

lol mine did this but becuase my wife slammed it into the side of the curb slowly as she tried pulling it out of the driveway with cars in the way...ill see how the c-west bumper install goes

Dumb *** bumper, I took out the plastic piece that's suppose to provide another latching point. I think I'm just going to feed a zip tie through there and see what happens. Unfortunately I know it's going to be hard as hell to remove it though after I do that. Can't believe no one's made something to fix this issue. I've even seen it on the Evo's in Import Tuner, now that's bad.

Mine only does it on one side. Im about to slap on an evo 9 bumper. I hope it does not have the same problem
