Car trade in values have really dropped in the last year or so. I have a friend who just got a Nissian Sentra for 12k and couldn't get but almost 8k trade in.

Trade in on a 05 Evo with that kind of mileage should be from 16k low (car not in good shape) to a clean car at 18.5k Trade in... ya 11k ouch is a really low blow I wouldn't shop with them man...

Its because Evos are hard for dealers to sell and they are not doing so good in the market so anyone wanting to get rid of there Evo you are much better off selling it for what Trade in value should be since there are some many cars for sale right now... A local dealer in my area just unloaded the 3 Evos it had been sitting on for 14k, 14.5k and 15.5k.. and those where all 03 Evos with 50 - 80k miles on them... from a Dealer in good shape... So If you want to get rid of yours since its a 05 with less mileage than those I would put it up for 18k OBO man then you may be able to get around 17k for it... What Ever you do GL tho man...

But it's a Nissan Sentra. That's 4K under vs the Evo which is a way way better car for 8K under? No way. This one time I was just testing around and a dealer offer me 16 to 17K on my Evo for a trade to BMW 330ci. I'm like.... are you crazy?

Yeah dude all their trying to do is turn a profit by ripping you off. I would do like many of the people up here said and myself included. Sell it privately. I sold my Evo VIII for $23000 and I had it for five years, still looked brand new except for a little scratch here or there that could've been buffed out. It had 34,000 miles on it though....but still, $11 grand is too low. C-Class Mercedes isn't even worth it either....I'd get an E-class or better yet Audi but that just my opinion.
