11 grand? Don't even waste your time. The economy sucks but not that bad.

05 for 11k is a joke. You can sell it private party for more and then you can go find that benz and lowball them.

Do some research on trade-in values and then go argue with the dealer.

Unless it's an SLR McClaren or an SL65 Black...it's not worth trading your evo for, but if you were in the market for one of those you could've set the evo on fire in their parking lot and left it for them to deal with.

...In other words I'd stick with Mitsu.

they originally offered me $12,000 for my 03 w. 54k miles, I ended up getting $16,000 for it this last october just cause I wanted it gone. which when you trade in a car you save $ on taxes. Your offer is really low, if they are gonna stay at that offer, just sell it privately.

i forget what most dealers go by, but they don't use kbb or nada anymore. i found out because a dealership offered my friend 13 grand for his 08 civic si with 15k miles on it, and the nada was like 17 and kbb was 19 at the time. but he showed us the program on his computer, and it put the car at like 14 grand. and he showed us what they are selling for in the area, and they were selling for 15 grand with 5 thousand miles on it. and you guys all know honda's usually keep their value.
so apparently everything took a dummp with the economy

Dealers always want to make a big profit... and the economy right now is going to make the prices of all cars drop
