Tips for someone looking to buy their first EVO?

Hello all, selling my BMW daily driver to get my first EVO. As someone who is new to EVO's, im looking for a clean, low mile 2006. I am still learning the options, etc and wondering if you could give a newb looking for his first one any pointers/suggestions? Thanks

Whatever model you decide to get, make sure you get a test drive and some sort of inspection so you know it hasn't been abused. Take your time finding one, if one seems sorta sketchy don't go for it. I guess this goes for buying cars in general...but you definitely don't want a crappy Evo that has been used and abused and then put back to stock.

Dont rush into anything, and drive the car in stock form for a while.

kinda tired of luxury to be quite honest. Luxury is nice, but every day driving home im wishing I had something with more *****/more fun. I use to ride a ZX10r home every day from work. That thing was the best DAMN stress reliever. the BMW doesnt do that for me.

looks to be a good choice. low miles, lightly modified, and still stock height ( hard to find a used evo that isnt lowered ) i would look into it.

^^ However, being that it is up in MA, there might be a lot of salt on the underbody. I ran into that trouble--I got mine from Chicago with only 13000 miles and still there was so much salt that even the shop I took it to had trouble taking off the exhaust.

Wow. Have a mechanic check it out, drive it, and buy that sucker. You may be able to find something cheaper, but this one's near stock and low miles.

Have it checked to see if it was modded and then returned to stock.
