Well guys I ordered some things last summer when I first got my EVO VIII.

Turbo XS downpipe
EVO IX metal diverter valve
running 23psi
Test Pipe
Cat back Exhaust


Dynoed at STM's new AWD dyno and I put down 275whp/267TQ

Just ordered

AMS Intercooler with AMS stenciling
Upper and Lower IC piping
Small Battery kit
comp cams (272)

and the best part the AMS 35R turbo with polished manifold and atmosphere wastegate and BOV

Going to be using a tial BOV and running the AEM EMS

Hoping to put down 400whp

Will post pics of the dyno sheet when we do it and hopefully get some nice dyno vids or highway pulls or something

this year should be fun im really excited and I cant wait!! Just wanted to share that I finally ordered some new goodies and like I said when the installation starts there will be some nice pics!

I cant wait to see either! This is my first serious car/ serious project. I had a 00 eclipse i tried to turbo but it turned into a mess haha then I got a better job and here I am lol. Never been in a faster car than what im currently doing so I think thats where a lot of my excitement is coming from but I cant wait to post pics and vids!

You didn't mention a fuel pump with your mods. You absolutely need to do that if you haven't yet

if your shootin for 400, give me the 35r and I'll buy you a smaller turbo that can do the job

 

What a coincidence. I had an 01 v6 eclipse which I tried to turbo but turned into a mess as well. Great DD but not a performer in the least. That's a nice list of parts you have there. You'll be breaking 400 without a sweat. I'm waiting on a buschur cc so my "list" isn't as spectacular. Pics are a must btw.

 

I'd be curious to see how much gains you get from just these mods combined with what you already have:

Fuel pump
Tune

Then go with the gt35

 

how much did all of this cost u?

 

the ams gt35r with manifold kit alone was prob like 4k+

The rest is like nothing compared to that, haha
