Ralliart Instrument Display

Has anyone else gone with the Ralliart Instrument Display? I saw Vivid's installation and it looks cool , but I was wondering if anyone else has. Also curious if they will be producing a English MPH version versus Kilometer version?

I think that is the point of getting the real one... If someone else makes one it probably will not be from Ralliart...

They look good as hell though, for the most part you know how fast your going, just look for 120 it's about 60 mph...

I like it. I am still debating whether to get it or not. And 100km/h = 62 mph. If I'm not mistaken, km/h speedos have mp/h smaller inside like our speedos have km/h smaller under the mp/h markings.

If you got it, would the odometer read 0 or is the mileage data stored in one of the computers so that the gauge is simply a display?

Good question Dale. I will ask the Vivid folks.

What does it do for $500 besides make you a permanent metric/standard converter?

For me the advantage is that it is easier to read. The red on black turns to black on black whenever the sun is bright and I wear sunglasses. The stock guages are OK at night. I doubt I'll buy the ralliart since it is so expensive.

I'm of like mind. If a US specific product was offered, even at the same price as the JDM product, I would snap one up ASAP.

I agree the stock guages get impossible to read sometimes during the day, I have always been a big fan of white faced guages.
