ProSport Premium Gauges?

Well guys, I ordered a ProSport Premium Gauges, I got the Blue/White for the following: Boost/Oil Pressure/EGT.

I REALLY hope they are good stuff. They look amazing, that's a given. Any thoughts on these or any tips?

I've Had the Boost Volt Meter and Oil Pressure in my EVO for about 6 months now and I have yet to have a problem. I love the way they look! Just make sure to either have someone who knows how to install them cause the instructions are little less than impressive. Also you will prob need a reducer for your oil pressure gauge, i needed one for my oil temp and it didnt come with it. Other than that I don't a have a thing to complain about!

I've had pretty bad luck with them.

Gone through multiple EGT sensors. Went through one in a 20 minute lapping session.

Constant erradic readings from my boost gauge.

The buttons for the peak/warning/rest also rattles pretty bad.

They were cheap and look nice, but I wouldn't buy them again.

Man, seems like it's a hit or miss with these gauges. Well, I just ordered their 80mm Tachometer Gauge with built in shift light. I hope it's good stuff too. Anyone have these?

I have Defi gauges in my car but a lot of my friends have the Prosports; if I were to build another Evo it would get Prosports since they look nice and are priced really low.

I've had the premium amber/white boost, oil pressure, and oil temp for over a year now with Zero issues, and they match the stock gauges perfectly.

That's sweet it matches the OEM cluster perfectly. I got the Blue/White tho, it should look awesome regardless.

The prosport gauges look amazing, but the stepper motors inside them are loud. There's a bunch of vids on youtube to check out as well.

As long as you have it hooked up to a constant, just push and hold the button on startup.

I've had the boost gauge for almost two years. The only issues I've had were my own fault. My sensor got wet and shorted out last summer, so I had to get a new one. And in the process of relocating the gauge, I screwed up the housing so the button cover fell off (I kinda like it better this way) and the stepper motor became a bit noisy on startup. I installed an oil pressure gauge a couple months ago, but I haven't hooked up the sensor yet. I'm definitely happy with them thus far.

I have a hearing loss, so noise is not really concern unless it's pretty loud.
