I had a crazy rattle one day and couldn't figure out where it was coming from, ended up realizing later it was a resister or something hanging down from behind my dash, I tucked it back up and the sound was gone.

 

i had a rattle when I was out west took off the dash and it was a snake.

 

I have a rattle that is very intermittent, hard to pin point but ironic is how I do most of the interior and dash rattle stuff at work at my dealership but can't solve my own rattle, I like to think of it as more of a race car feel as opposed to a smooth luxury car.

 

i have a wonderful rattle as well... some where near the passenger airbag. i just push on that part of the dash and it goes away..haha

 

I get some rattle, but usually only when things are really cold. The CF piece rattles above the center vents and the rubber stoppers for the glove box sqeak/rattle. If I use 303 aeorspace on the side bolsters of the seats they squeak against the center console. I also have an infrequent rattle from the panel under the top mounting point for the seatbelt on the drivers side.

I'd hate to say it, but tape or dynamat!

 

My dash rattles pretty bad, But I dont have any balance shafts and I have solid mounts lol

 

my dash rattles because of the aftermarket solid engine mounts.

 

I have so many rattles, I think it was an option when I bought my car.... for $1k extra we add 1k in rattles!!! I just roll down the windows and put my foot to the floor!!! The at certain RPM, my steering wheel sounds like its going to fall off..... thats an evo for you, and I love each and every one of these annoying pieces of crap rattles! EVO FTW!
