its 1 of 3 things my ix had this issue
intercooler leak
throttle cable
tuning issue
most likley you need to get a tune in the car thats what mine was

packing peanuts FTL... it souldn't hurt the motor either if a piece broke off as styrefoam (SP?) pretty much disintigrates under any sort of heat...

ya i figure even if a peanut made its way into the motor im sure it woulda got burned up right away, this one was just stuck/melted onto my throttle body and was holding it open
