Greddy TT counter

Looking to get some help, I installed my Greddy Turbo Timer couple months ago and its been working fine up until the other week. I installed a couple of gauges and what not and now the counter keeps counting even while the car is sitting still at idle. Once I turn off the car it counts down from where ever it stopped. Didnt bother me much until couple days ago, got tired of reselecting the time before I get out. I've checked all the wires and they're still there.

Can anyone shed some help on how to just leave it sitting at a set time? I dont think I've touched anything on it since I installed it. Thanks in advance

Check your connections. You probably got some wires wired wrong while wiring up your gauges.

I'm not sure if it helps, but if I shut down the TT before it finishes counting down, the next time I turn the car on its starts the countdown again. Basically, if you let it finish its job, the next time you start the car, everything is back to normal.

If yours just started doing this out of the blue, I'm not sure what it could be. Are any of the wires from the other gauges sharing the same connection with the TT? (i.e.: are any of the wires sharing a splice?) That might cause a gauge to act funny.

i believe its your speed sensor wire. i have my greddy tt hooked up without that wire and it does the same thing. it still does its job but the timer runs up to 8:00 whenever the car is driven for more than ten minutes. it doesnt really bother me, i just shut it off then back on before i shut off the car and it goes back to set time. hopefully this helps, cant really help as to where to run that wire or check it though because mine is just ziptied under the dash.

Yeah, I had mine zipped under the dash as well. Oh well i guess I'll suck it up until I figure out where that speed wire goes. Thanks for the responses!

Not to bring this back from the dead, but did you ever find a fix for this? Mine was working fine too till the AEM TruBoost, Uego, & Oil psi went in, then mine keeps counting too. LMK.

Thanks.
