Need HELP, transfer case seals leaking

I have a 2003 EVO 8 with 165k mile on it. I am having the clutch replaced on the car for the first time. I have no mods on the car except the clutch that I am replacing which is an ACT clutch. The clutch was replaced at a midas shop by where I live.

The problem is that I have had to bring the car back into the shop several time because of transmission oil leaks. The leaks seem to be coming from the transfer case/ front axel seals on both the driver and passenger side. The shop seems to have fixed the driver side leak the last time I took it into the shop, but the passenger side is still leaking. The shop says that they never touched that side.

My first question is what would cause the seals to start leaking like this after changing the clutch to an after market one? and my second question is just replacing the seals going to fix the problem?

Thanks

Well the shop is lying as you have to remove that axle to do a clutch job.

Sounds like you need a new Axle seal. Not much $$$, not very hard to do.

Replace the axle clips! Those can wear out and then your axle can move in and out enough to leak (or tear apart) your seal.

Edit: I mean do this along with the seal, they're easy and cheap.
