Those with warranty experience/warranty gurus. Please help!

Hi. I'm trying to figure out if I can have Mitsu cover a few parts of my car which I think should be taken care of. I have read my warranty manual, but didn't get much out of it.

The car is a little over 3 years old and has 50,000 miles on the clock.

Problems I am having

-Faded/chipping Brembos
-Faded clearcoat on wing
-Broken tooth on ABS ring
-Rust on rear quarter panel

Here are some pictures to help.

-Faded/chipping Brembos

-Faded clearcoat on wing

-Broken tooth on ABS ring - This I have no pictures for

-Rust on rear quarter panel

Thanks Everyone!

They should cover it. But again it depends on your dealership.

Mine covered chipped brembos and the wing. They ended up replacing the wing entirely

Thank you. So looks like I should be able to get the wing and brakes taken care of, but I wonder about the ABS ring and Rust?

Anyone with experience with ABS rings or rust?

Thanks again

without having any experience i would assume the rust would be the easiest of all of your issues listed to get covered. the wing seems to be hit or miss from what ive read.

i've heard of the wing covered numerous times so that should not be a problem.

I have gotten a new axle before because of the ABS ring problem. Although they first replaced the ABS sensor (since that is the code it throws), had me pick it, and i got maybe 50 feet before I realized it had the same problem. I took it back and told them what I thought was wrong and what do you know it was fixed. All $620 of the axle that they paid .

What year car? Are you the original owner? How often have you been to your local dealership? I had the dealership where I bought mine from, brand new, take a look at my spoiler and they voluntarily replaced my front calipers at the same time! Of course I also was there every 5k miles getting the oil changed and tranny service and transfer case and rear end serviced. I did this only to maintain a good relationship with them and so there would be a documented record of maint. performed. This seems to have paid off in the end since I have never been denied anything but exceptional service from them. Let us know how it turns out.

Lewisville Mitsubishi helped me out on my calipers, the paint started on em around 25000 miles. They put brand new ones on and in about 3 hours they called me back. Very helpful and respectful.

I don't think they will cover any of the cosmetic stuff. Your car is out of warranty.

Surface rust is not covered, its perforation that is covered for longer then the basic warranty.

You either have a 3/36000 or a 5/60000 warranty depending on the MY of your car.

Powertrain could either be 5/60000 or 10/100000. So the ABS thing probably will be fixed under that.

I have the good warranty. Its a 2005. So I should be good right? If you look closely at the rust picture you will notice that it isn't surface rust and that it is coming from behind the paint (hence the bubble underneath the paint)

Thanks
