Anyway why no mod the car and when you do make sure you have $5k if it blows up or the tranny ****s out. When you mod you know what you are getting into. Acura was the same way with my NSX, Mazda was the same why with my Rx-7. Lets please drop the threads about how mitsu screwed you because if you mod your car and it blows up tough ****. Now if it's stock that's different.

Not to hijack this thread, but I am with Ryan on this one. Saying you don't have a digital camera these days is like saying you dont have a DVD player. If you have a $90k car, there is no reason why you would not have a digital camera or at least access to one. If Ryan is wrong, just post a damn pic and get on with life...prove him wrong...(and please dont say you dont need or feel like proving him wrong because you have tried to use words to do that very thing in that entire other thread...now just seal the deal and use a camera ).

This site really should have a heavy privacy policy, this can avoid mitsu from using any information on this site to so call avoid work on your car. If not than this website has legal right to hold mitsu headquarters liable for breaking the policy.

 

by now we all have seen the advertisment for the evo, I say take them to court for fulse advertisment and yes it is a crime, you buy the car with the intention of it doing what they advertised

 

Careful. If you look in all the stuff from them, it all says "this is a specially prepared race version. Do not attempt this with your car." and stuff like that. The only loophole I have found so far was the "go forth and modify" slogan they used in the info packs for the car and the Pit Pass video. In that video, they showed both rally prepped and street Evo's. The street ones have no parkings on them showing they are race-only and they are being driven around a track. They appear so similar to the car that they actually sell to us that It would be hard for them to prove that it was a race-ready car.

One thing, when I asked for a copy of either the info pack or the video, they said that Mitsubishi of North America would not let them hand that out to customers or potential buyers. Then they gave me a different brochure that showed nothing of the sort. It had the silver Evo on the front that is also seen on the website. that was the only picture that even showed the car in motion. Every other picture in the thing was a static picture.

I think this was thought out in advance so that they could advertise it one way on the private property of the dealership, but every way that they would advertise it to the masses would be totally different.

On the other hand, Subaru is putting out commercials of the WRX twisting through corners, accelerating hard, and even throwing rooster tails in the mud. Totally different marketing strategy, probably a totally differenty warranty stance. Since I don't own a Scooby, I don't know for sure.

I know I have a VERY nice audio and video setup at my house and I do not use my ps2 or my xbox. I have a DVD player. I don't get how my refusal to move to digital has anything to do w/ my car. I don't have dvd and digicam. Now, if I were a liar like you, I would have said, I have everything in the world including a friend w/ 2 ferraris. Get a clue on life.
