My problem is my boost controller isnt working properly... and my boost gauge only goes to 20psi so i cant tell how high its spiking but i know it is supposed to be set at 20psi... so i figured i might be able to kill two birds with one stone but i dont want any more trouble with the BC so maybe i'll just get a gauge and BC seperate

thanks

I have it. It looks and (so far as I can tell) works awesome. It's super easy to adjust boost and crack pressure with it and if you hold the right button down for two seconds after a pull, it tells you what peak boost was so you don't really have to look down at it while you're driving. I like this feature a lot.

That said, my car only put down 290 whp at AMS with a TBE, drop-in filter, TruBoost set to 23 psi spike, and AMS flash. They tell me its normal for a car with my mods but I've heard other things from other people so I'm not sure what to think. If it is low, there's the possibility that the TruBoost is telling me I'm spiking 23 while it's actually lower. I'm going to give an MBC a shot this summer just to make sure the TruBoost is accurate. I'll be happy if it is because I love it.

^^^
before my engine blew my boost was set at 20psi and i put down 272 to the wheels with 3" TBE and thats pretty much it

i have no idea what the HP is now because now i have a evo 6.5 tme turbo and im back on the stock tune except w/a two step and rev limiter lowered but i can see the boost spike way past 20 on the gauge so i need to get a new BC and new gauge real soon

they should have been able to log boost on their dyno plots.
Just plug the vac line from your gauge into the dyno vac line and it will log thru the graph to see if it holds.
we did this on mine to make sure it was holding solid
