Two guys, two mods, and a tune... in the 11's
So far, 2 runs for the night: 12.03@113.18 and 12.02@113.35. Jim said track condition not as good as last time. 60's are 1.64 and 1.65 respectively. The quickest run was slightly slower on front half, but more than made up for it on back half. First run had 89 mph 1/8th, second run was 88.09 mph 1/8th. Final run of the night is very near.

Didn't quite get there tonight, on the last run I missed third and that was it. I had plenty of support from the IndyHP guys, and also met some really cool EvoM members.
We are very close .03 and were in the 11's but that will have to wait till next time.
I feel bad for 9sec9... he has given me the baddest tunes and has been 100% behind me all the way and I really feel I let him down on this one because the power it there and the driving was not.
I think Sunday there is a bracket race which I might use for another attempt. After we review the logs, and have a few days to think about it, I'm sure we will have a plan to go after it again. Thanks for all of your support, Indy and 9sec9

Thanks guys, but the 60' on the last pass would not have got it done and missing third did not help any. Times for tonight as follows.
1.697 60 / 12.540@109.72 missing third
1.645 60 / 12.035@113.18 clean run 1-2, 2-3 shifts too high RPM by 700
1.658 60 / 12.024@113.35 clean run shifts closer to target RPM
1.709 60 / 12.956@109.05 missing third badly

Yes it was to keep the mods at a minimum. Our goal is to break 11's as is, then move on to the next bang for the buck mod. We might try the intake pipe at a later time. Thanks, Indy

not quite the qoal but it so close!!
i hope to see that with my current mods and the revised tune lol of course the 11.xx is alot better. you guys are doing a great job.
You will get it next time man!
113.35 trap is killer for a MBC, filter and an awesome tune.
It really shows how good driving and tuning nets results. I'm excited to see what happens after a few more mods are done.
Are you on the stock clutch?

, but we know were close and if 9sec9's son was in the car we would be looking at high 11.80's since I'm double his weight. We are staying with what we have untill I break 11's, then we will take a look at what is next.Yes it's still the original clutch with 30,000 miles and 24 launches, 16 on drag radials.

I'm sure 9sec9 will crunch the numbers, but from looking at the logs this thing is back halfing well. If the track would have been there and we had the same 60' as the 12.077 run it would be in the 11's now. I will be going back out Sunday and use the bracket race as a test and tune session as the track is fully preped.
Thanks Tom we moved forward...again .
