For the red EVOs Again

I called my dealer told them my car was swirl city. They told me to come down and get it detailed. so i went down. I met the guy who was goin to do my car> Really cool guy he knew his stuff. So he detailed it took him 2 hours to buff my car. the swirls are very light now. You have to really look for them. He also put on some crazy wax. The car is so F!!!!! shiney. The dealership i bought it from is one of the best so far. I was like wow. Granted the whatever he used will come off in like a week. but I goin to zaino this thing up every 3 months. the last thing i want is a pink car in a year. The dude told me red did come off the car.I told him it would. ILl take pics tomorrow post them up . ANYONE KNOW A GOOD ZANIO COMBO TO USE SO MY PAINT STAYS ON MY CAR. OH i also complained about the paint to the dealer they said its MItsu who is cheap and nothing they can do .

you shouldn't need to do anything to ur car now except put quick detailer on it (megiars, eagle one, zaino Z7..). and get a different sponge, cuz that's what caused your swirl makes...either that or your drying habits.

but if you feel the need to undo what this guy just did for your car, clay bar it, then do 2 coats of Z5 and 3 coats of Z2. but chances are you'll just cause more swirls if you put any form of wax on it.

thank for the advice. The swirls were caused by the dealer before i picked up the car. I havent even touched it with a rag LOL. I will next week. Use some dawn to strip whatever they put on> then use Zanio.

For drying/detailing purposes I only use Microfiber rags. They don't scratch, leave lint or a residue on the paint.

For swirls, you can try their scratch out.

Try www.dershineystuff.com

Horrible site but you can call.

if your going to start all over again do this:

wash with dawn
clay bar
rinse off
Z5 x 2
Z2 x 3

**BUT**
if you don't have the ZFX mixed in with the other zaino's u can only apply i think 3 coats in 24 hours...and you should put a coat of Z1 and then imediatly Z5 on top of that..don't wipe it off. acutally just read zaino's instructions on their website, and do 2 -3 coats of each of the Z's.

With ZFX, you don't need Z1 at all. Z1 is ancient now. Do this:

Wash and scrub the car with Z7
wash again with Dawn soap (1oz dawn for each gallon)
claybar
wash with Z7
apply Z5 and buff (2-3 times)
apply Z2 and buff as many times as you want (gets better each time)
spray Z6 and buff

Reason I have a wash before Dawn soap is cuz i don't want the Dawn soap to be the one I scrub the car down with.
