I have a 2006 IX I damaged my front bumper....theres another thread on this called "Bad DAy"

My Questions are as follows:
1) Where can you get a oem bumper from besides Mitsu

2) Do they come prepainted just like the usdm rear i have

3) What is a good vendor or two that sell tons of body kits (might change my front but i doubt it)

4) The usdm front bumper will that direct bolt on without modifications?

 

I'd call mitsu and ask about all this but i broke my phone too so i have no phone at all and my roommate is gone for the weekend so i am phone less for a while.

 

Look on Gruppe-s' website. they sell JDM Evo IX front bumpers and have body kits. Vivid racing sells body kits as well as Bulletproof Automotive. Oh, and Gruppe-s has painted bumpers.

 

Yes, I saw the usdm front on gruppe-s it was $1000 pre painted, and said it required the usdm bumper support crash beam.

 

If you have an '06, then you should have everything needed to swap over to the new bumper. Unless, you damaged the screens and supports beyond repair.

How bad is the damage? Sometimes if the damage isn't too great body shops can repair urethane fairly easy.

 

yes it for sure can be repaired its just scuffed but i don't want it repainted lol

gruppe-s cant get the pre painted bumper but can get a non painted for 1300

 

Repainting it can cost as little as 100 bucks if you know the right people. And if they do a good job you wont even tell. If you find someone that does quality work it will probably turn out better then factory mistsubishi paint (factory paint sucks btw).

 

Ok no one has a pre painted bumper so i going to get one from mitsu for 820 and get it painted for another 500 (just got a estimate) and get a carbon lip and wheel hub assembly and be done
