hmmm, didn't think to check my pads. But yeah, hopefully they can resurface them and I won't need to get them replaced.

About rotors warping. I never had this issue with my car but I'm a bit easyer on the brakes then most people are. I have driven a few EVO with warped rotors and I really think it's brakingin the pads before you hit the brakes hard.

Check out stoptech.com in the installation manual in for big breakes they explain how to create green fade to seat in the pads.

Really good read

Still no seious problems after 22K miles. Do I baby it? Not exactly, I am on my 4th set of front brake pads due to numerous track days. So far, bullet proof (I do avoid hard launches, tho).

In no way is the evo junk, but I do know the clutch is weak, everyone told before I bought it to go ahead and change the clutch that it would be gone by 10,000 miles. I will admit when I first bought the car getting used to the awd was a little frustating especially because the clutch would always smell. by the 3000 mile mark I learned how to drive it but I am sure I already weakened the clutch. At 9400 miles my clutch slips no big deal just needs to be upgraded.

As far as everything else it is perfect and love to drive the car and no complaints about it,

18,000 miles, the only problem I have is the two front brake calipers are peeling really badly. Dealership won't replace them...
