I took all of the rear badges off on a 70 degree afternoon, in the shade, and didn't need the hairdryer I brought for extra heat. Soap on a wet rag cleaned up the dirt from the corners of the badges, my fingernail was fine for the adhesive...

trunk looks as if there were never any badges

Im looking at Debadging mine.... I love Goo Gone...... Military Decals are put on with Tacky adhesive and it takes em off without a Problem, in a Pinch WD-40 is a great adhesive remover also.

the hair dryer and dental floss worked for me... i didnt have any goo gone, i tried everything else to remove the rest of the gunk, alcohol, wax, kept heating it and rubbing it with a wet rag... bottom line its all off now, so something worked :-/

Xylene mixed with a bit of 100% isopropyl (about a 98% or 99% mix). Instantaneously eats any adhesive I've thrown at it. Just make sure you clean it up well and quickly as it will take its toll on the clear coat and below if you let it.

I recently took off my wing and there was this thick tape left over that was holding it onto the trunk. My buddy gave me this vinyl eraser that you put in a drill. Pulled everything off in less than a minute. Just make sure you keep the drill on the lowest setting and dont sit in one place or you'll eat your paint away. I wouldnt reccomend if you dont trust yourself but its pretty simple. I wish i knew about this when i took my decals off, saves so much time and looks like there was never anything there

this isnt the one I used but just an idea of what it is..

theres also youtube vids on how to use it!
