Hey ya'll

Made a small mistake today,

I was pulling on something and didnt realize that the little wire running from the harness into the oil sensor had stress on it.

well, I seperated the wire that is supposed to go inside the clip from the clip.

I ended up soldering them back together But I was just wondering if anybody knows where I could get the clip for this?


also, this isnt really important since I have a defi gauge right? even if the car thinks it doesnt have oil that would just make the oil light come on right? It wouldnt affect the ECU (or EMS in my case) I do have the connection soldered I'm just talking worse case scenerio if it were to come undone somehow....

 

BTW the cip thing that the wire came out of was black. and it mates with a tab on the Oil pressure switch that has a hole in the center of it that the cip interlocks with

its the same thing that's on the starter signal wire and the coolant temp signal wire

it's actually this sucker that I circled in the pic

 

Probably only from mitsubishi. You should be fine though, if the light comes on, you know the soldering didn't fix it.

 

do you know where the wiring harness looking plug goes coming off of the oil pump!? i did a clutch re[placement and now my car isnt turing over and notcied that the plug from the pump wasnt connected and have looked EVERYWHERE for the answer. any help would be much appriciated
