P0300 code.. Need to pass emissions..

P0300 code.. Need to pass emissions..

Hey guys, so as you know I sold my evo. Well the guy I sold it to is my buddy. The car is getting the P0300 Random misfire code. Now we can clear the code but after like 20 miles of driving it comes right back on. So he cant get it to pass emissions.. Any idea on what to do?

Upgrade to the 0015 ROM and if that doesn't work disable the code routine in the ECU.

Just disable it. Instructions can be found here on the forums. I have P0300, Evap, and EGR disabled just for good measure. My car passes with absolutely no issues.
