Talking now oil change is even cheaper!

Just went by Wal-Mart today. They just lowered the price on all of their oils. The 5 quarts of Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic I bought a few months ago was $26. That same 5 quarts is now $22. Bringing the total cost of an oil change down a whoppin 4 bucks! Thought I'd give everybody a heads up. If you aren't doing your own oil changes, well then shame on you!

that is funny that it took those oil manufacturers that long to lower their prices on oil.

at ASMOIL we had lowered ours back in march.

Funny story, a friend on mine bought a 5qt jug from wal-mart. opened it up started pouring and black dirty oil was coming out. He said the jug had the seal on and everything. How gangsta is that? Somebody put dirty oil back in and returned it. We check each jug now.

any good oil filters we can get from wal-mart or autozone or anything?

I typically get mitsu oem oil filters, but the dealership by my house closed down, and I can't get to any other one before they close. I was thinking of going to wal-mart later today to pick up the oil, not sure what to do about filter =\

You sure about that? I did an oil change about 2 months ago and paid $26 for 5 quarts at that time. Went in today with another one coming up, and it was $22. Had a little paper display thing sticking off to make sure you noticed the price dropped and everything.
