Crank position sensor isues
Can anyone tell me the easiest way to access the crank position sensor? I'm throwing the code for it so I need to inspect, clean and possibly change. Couldn't find a guide for this.
Easy.. not really, easy way to do it. You basically have to act as though you were going to change a timing belt. It's behind the harmonic ballancer pulley on the crank. Oddly mine was throwing a code last month also. Scanned it and it went off a few engine cycles later. Have not had it come back on since.
(update, mine was coming on from a the timing belt bumping it. Replaced all timing components and have never had the problem since) It was time for the 60k service.
