Question Spark plug wires for an EVO IX???

I have looked all over and I can't find anything about spark plug wires for a IX. I've read every post about the plugs but still haven't found out about the wires. I read that the VIII and the IX are not interchangeable. I've found numerous wires for the VIII. Nology even invites you in saying they fit evo's 03-06 but then they say it only works for VIII's. Has anybody with a IX found some that are worthwile? I just got NGK OE laser iridium plugs and I decided not to be a cheapo and get the wires but now I've run into this mess. Can somebody help me???...

Really no reason to upgrade wires until your making more power. At that point you may need to search "sparktech". He has numerous ignition systems

Well I've put pretty much every bolt on imaginable and I got tuned recently. How much excatly would qualify as "more power"? I know it's not much but im pushing 323whp and 316tq.

Our non-cdi cop on a 300whp evo 8 makes 8-12whp gain over stock coils. As power goes up ie. larger turbo, cams, intercooler your power gains will also

Our FP Red customers have been reporting 15-20whp gain just by installing the non-cdi cop

If you just want to get some replacement wires b/c yours are getting aged get the OEM ones from the Mitsu dealer. Don't forget to buy two new boots too.

wire set md343245 $48.50
boots before 7-05 md623073 $33.22ea
boots after 8-05 1832a033 $16.52ea

These are prices given from my local dealer a year ago so they're probably out of date.
