what do you mean NO, there are several evo 3's that have been fitted with later engine setup such as simon norris, i plan to do this for my evo 3 as well so stop telling people no to things you not sure about
I have a evo9 engine/trans/transfer case, and was wondering if it would fit into a 1st gen awd eclipse?
It doesnt fit without an 1" spacer because the compressor cover hits the balance shaft bulge and the waterpipe. I have this conversation daily. A custom header and a car equipped with MAF Translator or MAFT Pro could make it work. An Evo 3 will make more power than a IX turbo anyway.
