good point! if it was already red when he crossed the intersection, you have a chance of suing and getting it fixed.

btw, next time if you are in an intersection, either cross it quickly or wait for the green.

Sucks to see your car like that. I understand you had to cut back on expenses, but putting liability on the EVO wouldn't be an option for me. Hell, I have full coverage on my DD 2000 Focus.

Hope you get everything sorted out.

that really sucks man. if you are able to do the work yourself you could prolly get it back together at a pretty reasonable price if you are patient finding parts. maybe you can fight being at fault?

yeah, what he said. pay more attention at intersections, and if you saw the other guy speed up, why didn't you? totally avoidable accident...unless you were really trying to run the light yourself and got tagged... anyway, you should have been more careful, and the cops were right to site you at fault. like others have said, it's stupid to drive a car that expensive with just liability. good luck with fixing the car, but it's gonna be retardedly expensive. could possibly be totalled.

File a case with his insurance. You will get money out of him.

Insurances will deal in cases of %'s. X% ur fault and Y% his fault.

Some money is better then none.

WTF are you joking? When I sold my Evo I was 23 and I was only paying $909 a year and I had full coverage on the car.

Car!!!!

Hey man I got an idea you should throw around! I just read on here that one of the guys (mad_canabice) has an evo roller you could buy for 4000. You could buy it and switch everything out yourself. No paint and body then you could part out you old car to try and recoup some of the money back. You could probably get 1500 for the other 1/4 and the 100 or 200 for the front bumper so on and so forth. He replied to one the post about an mirage evo viii swap. Of course it all depends on the condition of evo roller!

No matter what, in the state I live in, if you are in an accident with someone taking a left hand turn they are automatically at fault unless it's a green arrow. There are obvious exceptions, but for the most part it's true. Viva MASS!
