Hi all

I've been resisting posting on here but might as well do my first post and add fuel to the fire.

Anyone hear of an August release? I heard this from a dealer today here in Arizona.

Too many dates now. Maybe just the wheels in August, the motor in December and eventually the Evolution logo in 2006.

 

Nahhh... Spring 2003 is still the date.

 

In all honesty at this point, I think it would just be best to wait for Mitsu to give us a firm date. I have my deposit down with a dealer in Tucson, and even he told me July this year! If Mitsu had really planned on releasing it within the next couple months, I am almost positive we would have heard something. I think the company executives are monitoring the forum....they just wanna see how crazy they can drive us all, and release all the info when we're just short of kiddnaping one of them to get some info

 

Read the previous posts. My source that is "in the know" at Mitsubishi said it will make its "world debut" at the end of Jan '03.
I have heard from dealers in the past about August also. In my opinion, August is when they'll have the final specs, brochures, cars to show, etc.

 

My dealership is telling me that it will be here Jan for sure

 

The car (Evo 8) will make its world debut in January '03 and will be at US dealerships by Spring 2003.

 

mmmm....Spring means more time for me to save a bit more $$$, not to mention it means I'll have less MN road salt to deal with

 

Agreed...I've lost faith in mankind due to all this heresy, counterarguing and theorizing over this

 

One of the dealers in Orlando also told me they'll get it in their shops in August. I'm # 8 on the list.
