Leaking Samco Radiator Hoses on my Evo VIII

I installed Samco radiator hoses about a year ago with stock radiator clamps. They seem to be fatigue because there's a small leak on the water thermostat housing.

What kind of clamps do you recommend. Don't know if regular clamps will eventually damage the hoses.

Samco clamps are expensive and hard to find. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the help!

I have seen Samco hoses develop slight tears which then lead to leaks. The solution was to buy coolant hoses from NAPA which appeared to be stronger and more reliable than the thing Samco hoses.

i just use regular worm gear clamps on everything to be honest.
esp for coolant hoses, there is no need to bother with Tbolts. You are gonna waste more effort getting them on then you need to.

^yUP. Normal worm clamp is more than sufficient. Don't over tighten it or the hose will tear.

Another in for normal worm clamp. Check to see if the hose is damaged?

Do it DSM Style.

1) Get some high-tensile duct tape (3M is the ****.)
2) Cut the HT Duct Tape to approx the width of the clamp plus a couple millimeters.
3) Wrap around the ends of the hose that will be held by the clamp.

The duct tape might be ghetto to some, but its a surefire fix for longevity.

if you properly size them its not too bad.
Tbolt clamps are just as much of an eye sore IMO. Clamps in general look ugly.
Man. . . now that I think of it. . . maybe ill start anodizing some clamps and selling them. lol. I know no one would pay for them though. lol

My hoses did not fit that tight. I just contact Samco to see if there's anything that can be done. I'll keep all updated.
