had a friend get in a 100mph accident in a prelude. It was in comparable shape as that Evo is in. He didn't hit a treet, i just hit a curb, then slid into a guard rail, screwed up the sides of the car pretty bad, but didn't slam into any other vehicles or trees

Where is the logic in that ? At least when you get rear ended, its not your fault, as opposed to the alternative.
