Help - Fuel starving at 1/4 tank

I used to be able to autocross to almost empty without any ill effects. Lately however the car is starting to fuel starve as soon as it gets close to 1/4 tank. It seems that somehow my pick-up point has changed. A friend suggested to change the in-tank fuel filter. Any other suggestions?

Thank you

same fuel pump as prev?

Little bit of wisdom here. . . . Not wise to run a turbo car low on gas let alone race it. Get into boost at the right angle that that pickup doesnt pull gas up and buh bye to your motor!!!
Ive seen it happen on many occassions.
Ive actually had my car buck enuff on a hard shift with low gas that it popped quick from lower fuel level. Thank god nothing bad happened. I knew better and just was being stupid.

but I wouldnt suggest doing this much.

I would assume thats normal considering that the car is moving all over the place. we have 14 gallon tanks so now 1/4 tank would be around 3 gallons. When i took mine to the track i was on my 3rd 30 min session and half way through it i had about a 1/4 and i felt it bog about twice so i got off the track and filled up at their station and got back on

I don't let it go below 1/4 tank on track either, but autocross is different since there is very little sustained cornering. And as I mentioned what puzzled me was it was OK for years and now the point where the car starves has changed significantly. I have been looking and the only explanation seem to be the pump, not the filter...
