most states are out of $$ and will try to hit you up with whatever possible to make some revenue. most people will pay and not fight it.

i think the canister style also draws unwanted attention.

Cops can pull you over for whatever they feel like it. I had a lady cop pull me over cuz the gap in my wheel well was too small. What?! She clearly had no clue. They basically try to nail you for being a punk kid with a attention drawing car.

i got pulled over by a chp a couple of weeks ago. he checked out my exhaust and knew it wasnt stock. he asked me to rev it and hold the rev at 3k rpm. then i pulled out my exhaust certificate that said it was legal. shouldve saw the look on his face after reading it. he was so mad he couldnt get me for my exhaust so he gave a ticket for tinted front windows. by the way i have the tanabe medalion touring exhaust.

It's like the car dealers here in MN selling new & used cars without front license plate brackets. It's $111 for no front plate and you're guaranteed to get one if you park anywhere public. I'm going to register my car tonight (bought out of state) and I'll need to drill my bumper unless I wanna zip tie it.

there is a how to zip tie/adhesive tape it to the front grey/black area... that way you don't have to drill the front bumper... mine already came with it.

go to court and fight it. a non stock exhaust is not a reason to pull someone over. and as for decible levels if they didnt measure it you will be fine. i am sure the cop isnt going to show anyways for this so it will be dropped. and if they do try to charge you with something then bring up the lifted trucks with there exhausts which are louder and harlys which is way louder. i have gotten out of 2 tickets that way. but i will bet the cop wont show.
