OEM JDM rear bumper Vs aftermarket

Hi guys!
I'm looking for an evo 9 MR JDM rear bumper but I can't decide what to buy. I can get the urethane replica for about 550 and the OEM factory prepainted for about 900.

Does the OEM worth the 900 ?
Is there a big difference between both bumper?
Any complains with the replica?

Does the replica come pre painted? Personally, I would stick with an oem part that you know is gonna fit perfect. Not to mention its already painted by mitsu.

I love OEM parts. That would be my pick. Do it once - do it right.

oem is going to be a perfect fit

aftermarket you are taking your chances and most likely will need to be painted offsetting the cost anyway

I switched from the OEM to the JDM and wished I had done it earlier! The JDM came pre-painted

900? Don't these go for just under 700$ shipped? OEM JDM?

$750 last I heard.
Being painted by Mitsu is NOT a bonus. I would much rather paint it myself, but I'm a painter so it's not a big deal for me.

I'm looking for an OEM JDM bumper now with some minor scratches, any color.

Jdm vs ebay

Jdm are as I got a quote 749 shipped and already painted. Ebay you can get them nonpainted for 400 or less shipped. I was considering buying a aftermarket evo 9 front bumper. I saw one at the shoot out, I complimented a guy on his perfect evo 8 with a evo9 front bumper. I said that I was considering doing a aftermarket look a like evo 9 front bumper. I asked if he found a good deal on a oem one. He laughed and said that his was a aftermarket evo 9 front bumper. He said it was much cheaper and is holding up perfect. My two cents. On ebay I found a replica evo 9 front and replica evo Jdm rear bumper shipped for 600. You still have to paint them. Those are the prices they quoted me. Good luck , and let us know which way you decide and how you like your decision.

The painting alone is worth the price difference, let alone the way better fitment.
