My Evo is pissed off at me!!!

This past Friday while I was back in NY I went to one of those shady places that will give you cash for your car to see how much I could get for my evo and they didn't come close to offering what i wanted so I bailed. BTW it turns out that it was a complete waste of time. Which im sure anybody whose ever been to one of those places could have told me.

So Anyway I'm driving back to RI on Sunday and I'm kind of driving like I stole the car when all of a sudden I hear a loud pop and I loose all forward momentum. No smoke or metallic clunk, rattling, etc. So I'm like wtf and coast off the road. Turns out I popped the upper intercooler hose off of the intake manifold.

I think my car was pissed I tried to sell it!!! I had to sit there on the side of I-84 for 1.5 hours and wait for my parents to show up to bring me a screwdriver so i could put the hose back on the manifold (I took everything out of the car on Friday thinking I might not have it anymore by the end of the weekend).

A cop did show up about an hour into me sitting there on the side of the road, asks what I was doing. I ask him if I could borrow a screwdriver he says doesn't have one and then leaves. WOW! CT troopers are top notch. Protect and SERVE.
No sympathy no passion, just says nope and bails.

You have the "Christeen" car complex. You better not get rid of that car ever. It will hunt you down and KEEL you!

I tried to stay off boost but it popped off again. It didn't help I was halfway up an incline when it happened. Three and a half years of vibration I guess??????

I was after exit 15 in CT. I felt such a douche all the people I blasted past in the right lane when they were too stupid to move over got the last laugh on sunday.

Even saw a couple sti's driveby. I was like son-a-b. I could here them laughing!!!!

When u have a evo u should always have a small tool box to fix minor road side problems when they arise. thats like ridding without a spare! now u know. I always have a Philips head, a flat head, a 10mm socket and extension, pliers( needle nose and regular) and a cutting tool like a razor or a knife. U never know with a evo.

T bolt clamp is not going to solve the problem, I've been thru this. My stock Upper ic hose pops off even with t bolt clamps. The stock rubber hose doesn't seal period! what you really need is the silicone hose such as samco or hard pipe! I have samco silicone hose in my evo now and it's the best thing!

And you should praise the lord that cop left you, b/c if he wants to be a dick, he can just tow your evo, if I were you I'd glad that he left me on the highway!!

I'm wasn't glad I needed a screwdriver!!!!!!!!!

Really? Tow me on the spot? Danger to the rest of the people driving on the road I guess? I was completely on the shoulder.
