I have 03 evo tonight i pulled 2nd and a green light flashed up and went away real fast i couldnt even tell what it was. My question is has this happened to anyone or does any one know why or what symbol? It showed up on the right side of the dash. I also think a orange light flash but it was on the left side... pretty confused. I pretty much have bolt on and a aem ems. Any help would be great thanks

 

Pulled second? Does that mean a hard or soft shift?

I think the only green light on the right side of the dash is the right turn signal...? You might have just slightly touched the turn signal lever. As for the flash on the left side, my oil light flashes every now and then when I'm in stop and go traffic. Still haven't picked up the sensor and tool to do it yet though...

when you shifted you may have tapped the ic sprayer button or something.....or its just your imagination..running away with you.

 

i think it was your traction control light going off from the shear tq ripping all 4 tires loose

 

if it was upper right it could of been your headlights. on the left it could of been your ses light flashing at you. if your car starts to pull timing or you have a misfire it will flash very quickly at you. if you have turned up your boost lately i would consider turning it down some. check your plugs if you havent changed them in a while

 

is your intercooler sprayer set to auto? been tuned? could have the tephra mod enabled that sprays on knock.

 

your washer fluid is low and the slosh caused the low washer fluid light to flicker

 

Im curious if you ever figured out what this was?

After I fixed a large boost leak I took my car out tonight and I think I had the same green light come on. It flashed on the pod that says Lancer. It flashed too quickly for me to identify what it was but it happened every time I shifted. It was raining earlier but I didnt really feel the car break loose.

Any ideas what was?
