Bought the car, and for some reason the housings had no high beams, or whatever bulb goes here. Sylvania's book at the local auto parts store has nothing useful :-/

 

That is the fogs . If that is a projecter then I know that it does not have fogs it is just a place holder... I know it sucks cuz the fogs dont have projecters.... nice one mitsu?????

 

Did you buy the car used? Because for some reason a couple of the evos here have the same headlight. It doesent seem to be a factory headlight? These evos were in a front end collision. And the body shop didnt want to spend more than a thousand dollars on hid headlights, so they bought knock offs.

 

Hmmmm it IS used, carfax was clean, but that housing has a empty socket, and there is a plug directly behind it. There is supposed to be a light in there, the housing also has a reflector inside, and the light cuttoff deal inside too. Ideas? Should I run to an auto parts store and get the fog bulb and try it out? My car also has a fog switch on the dash....

 

if you have fog lamps....it is a H11 bulb.

 

It has the fog lamps. I tried bulbs until one fit lol. It's not listed in the book at all, but the housing takes an H11, and there is a switch on the dash for the fogs. Oddly enough the Sylvania book lists the H3-55w as the fog for the Evo's... and the H11 is the composite for the Evo 8.
