has anyone...
Yes we hate when people come to our community and try to STEAL from people we respect and honor.
It has NOTHING to do with "trying something different". We have people doing different things and pushing the boundaries everyday. I mean, that other community has made it so you can do the things (SD, MLTS, knock light, etc) we can do with our ECU...NO ONE.

your right, im stealing but yet the schematics have been posted online for the world to see by the creator himself, but im stealing. also the creator even said "You can certainly experiment with the design for your personal use. The design is copyrighted, so you couldn't reproduce it and sell them to others."

I (and others) just feel that even though you can make your own, you should support the people. thats all.
We just feel you should support the people and their projects by buying a cable. That it. Thats all. No secret hating, no the guys said you cant do it, none of what you keep saying.
We just feel you should support the people and their projects by buying a cable. Period.
If everyone had started making their own cables when EVOscan/ECUflash came out, then there would have been a major possibility that we would NOT have EVOscan 2.5 with all its features and ECUflash version 1.41, which made it possible to flash the EVO X.
im saying if it was obviously as big of a deal as you and buschur make it out to be, he wouldnt of put everything out there for the world to see and gave people permission
your 7th post was what made people mad....
it's fine todo something to advance ones own knowledges. but you made it clear it is a money based decision...
You seem to think that $150 is purely for the cable, where in actual fact it's for the R&D that went into that cable.
Just like when a car mfc spends $billions on developing a new car they have to recover that cost back in sales.... Cars don't actually cost $tens of thousands in materials...
