Fuel system cleaners?

I ran my car a bit low (understatement) today and barely made it to the 76 in Redwood City that has 100 octane (all I'm currently tuned for).

After filling, the car ran a bit rough and seemed to have issues shifting... when rpm changed while shifting something didn't seem right. Did I suck some junk into my system?

The car has RC 1200 CC injectors that were just installed new this past February / March.

Would using a fuel additive like Redline SI-1 complete fuel system cleaner help me? Or would this be a waste or worse possibly do damage.

What's the feeling on these cleaners on stock or modified Evo's?

The Redline and Chevron Techron cleaners are the best ones available. I really doubt it'll help your current situation, but it can't hurt.

If it can't hurt, I may pick up a bottle of the Redline.

I think Lucas fuel treatment is actually the best on the market.

SI-1 works great, never had any problems with any Redline products. It's worth a shot at least. Does the car stumble when you are accelerating?
