'Vettes are a mass produced vehicle. The Evo VIII-IX are limited production.

 

This is a great question. I have an X, and my boss has an 06 Z06 that I installed a stereo on. I had a few chances to drive it around. It's a solid car. When it comes to power, the Z06 for sure. But when it comes to handling, the Evo has it, hands down. Granted they can both pull about the same lateral G forces, stock, the Z06 easily loses control with it's power, and 2WD. I know the Z06 is a faster car, but I prefer the quick, sticky handling of the Evo.

 

Keep the Z oh Sick! Can't go wrong with that badass car.

 

thats one of the hardest decisions i think ive ever seen on here. z06 is a bad ****ing car and so is the evo..... both are 2 completely different classes and both perform amazing.... since its a 9 id say keep evo.

I vote Evo. Since you're already down the modding path somewhat, I would just go all the way and make that thing so sick it would eat your Z06 alive

 

I would sell the evo.. The z06 is is one of the best cars out there. Can keep up with porsche. They just look more "bad ***" to me.. I would get one if I can afford it. Anyway How's the maintenance on the z06? Is it expensive to maintain? I'm thinking of getting one if my budget is already deep.. thanks..

 

Evo, definatly the evo. Vette is wonderful and all but unless you have another vehicle to turn to, just to practical for day to day life. 4 doors, a trunk, and AWD make like much easier.

THat is... unless you have an grocery getter or an SUV that you can trade off with?

 

Thats a hard one man... I would have to say Z06 though. Evos are awesome, but the Z06 is simply amazing. And since you have a truck for the winter, your set. Z06 for sure.
