i wouldnt drive it full throttle if you have everything hooked up again... that looks like the stock boost controller thingy doodad that controls wastegate position?

stupid dental school. all the usefull life knowledge i've gained is going out the window.

Yes that is the boost control thingamajiggy. Just replace it or upgrade it. You can actually bypass that whole sensor if you have an aftermarket boost controller. I haven't used mines in years.

It's a boost solenoid as stated above. A simple way to get rid of it would be MBC.

Don't drive it under high boost at all. Order a cheap MBC, or a good one if you want to stay with that over the electronic, a hallman one is like 90 bucks. Drop the MBC in there and go get a tune to dial in the boost and A/F settings and you will be fine. For sure don't beat it up or drive it aggressively like this though...

That is your boost control solenoid. I wouldnt drive the car casue there is nothing to control the boost. your only other option is to run the wastegate line right to a nipple that recieves boost and run off the waste gate spring. it would be driveable. you will be throwing a CEL now becasue of the solenoid.

Yep, thats the boost control solenoid.
I would not drive it.
Get a new one from the dealer or mitsubishiparts.net or get an mbc like the others said.
To me the risk seems too great to drive it like that.
good luck
