Hazard light button doesn't light up

hey guys, for some reason my hazard light button is not lighting up!

i was taking off that long plastic part so i could get access to the clock because i wanted to take off this layer of see-through plastic that i put in, since i wanted my clock to light up blue. Instead it looked aqua... so i took it off i unplugged the two white connecters and took out the clock to bend the "Ile" pin and then i put everything back together...

however now my harzard light button doesn't light up now... i was also installing a radio but i gave up on the radio and took it to a shop to have it installed but they told me that the radio has nothing to do with the hazard light button bulb...

note: when you press the hazard light button the hazards work and all however the light doesn't light up when i turn the interior lights on...

can anyone help me plz
is there a fuse for that bulb inside of the button??

I bought a malt at the Dairy Queen and sat it on the dash. It had a lid on it but as I drove away it fell over and slopped ice cream around. I cleaned it up but after that no hazard button light. One day I started spraying Windex on the button while turning the hazard lights on and off. It turned out the button was partially stuck. The bulb doesn't come on until the button is all the way out.

Did you try Barney's suggestion? Sounds like the button isn't coming out all the way.

well i took the hazard component out and i went ahead and took the bulb out... as i closely inspected the bulb... i could see that the filament inside of it were not making contact at all.... what does this mean? well the bulb is toasted.. so i need a new bulb...

does anyone know where i can find this bulb?

I once took off the long center dash trim before and when I re-installed everything the button didn't light up. I decided that I didn't give a ****

easy solution, if your bulb went out, now you have reason to build your motor. things like that get me through the day

last night i was driving the car and i notice something else too... the ACD button doesn't light up either... so for watever reason that hazard light button doesn't light up its also affecting the ACD button light... any suggestions, and building the motor would be fun! lol but wouldn't fix that light tho...

check and see if the button the right of the steering wheel lights up (ACD if its an MR or i think its fog light in the GSR) well if that button doesn't light up then changing the bulb will not fix it, there is something else involve here... maybe a fuse, but which one??
